Be aware of what you ask for, for the Sibyl
Of Cumae, asked Apollo (Ancient Greek god
Of prophecy),
in the year 740 B.C.,
For as many years of life in a heap
Of sand, in return for her pleasurable
Favors. And was granted her request:
But had forgotten to ask for youth as well;
Subsequently, after one-thousand years, plus!
She succumbed to withering away to dust,
And a resonating voice, that echoed
Throughout her subterranean chamber.
