Little Jack is fighting back, over and over again—
He has many medical complications
And I doubt he knows any of them!
(At fourteen months old…)
He said something over the phone last night
(The first time I’ve got to speak to him…)
I think he said ‘Hello, he…ll…oooo, ha, ah, ha!’
I think that’s short for Grandpa—!
For he made a fuss, until he got his way…:
His voice, eager with love, and child’s play!
