Belonging

Woman in disarray

We all want to belong
We all need to belong
Belonging has a voice like a horn—
When love is blown through it
It says: “You belong!”

No: 4745/ April 2, 2015
Taken from a group of April poems

Note: Oftentimes the young, and politicians, the mayors, do not realize older people are struggling to belong, those who realize this, are well preceded in perception, this perception is a gift if used well, for them who are not fueled by the enemy of cold and darkness. No one cares how much you know until you show how much you are. Even God.
