of Gethsemane
Had
Judas ceded to the Evil One?
So
said John; this is the same Judas also called, the thief.
“Woe
to that man by whom the son of man is betrayed,”
says Jesus!
Hence,
what now is his fate?
I
mean, did he not repent?
Toss
back those silver coins to the priests?
Did
not Peter also oppose Christ?
What
is the difference here?
Peter
repented, was pardoned by grace, and went on
with his mission…
Judas,
repented with a self-destructive motive.
Thus,
still something is missing!...
“Never
despair of God’s Mercy” says Saint Benedict.
(In other words, repent, convert, and get
moving…!)

Plata arrojada y un beso dado, en el Jardín de Getsemaní,
¿Cedió Judas al maligno?
Eso dice Juan; éste es el mismo
Judas llamado también: el ladrón.
“Pobre de aquel que entrega al
Hijo del Hombre”,
¡Dice Jesús!
Así, ¿Cuál es su destino ahora?
Quiero decir, ¿no se arrepintió
él?
¿No arrojó las monedas de plata
devolviéndolas a esos sacerdotes?
¿También Pedro no se opuso a
Cristo?
¿Cuál es la diferencia aquí?
Pedro se arrepintió, fue
perdonado por gracia,
y continuó con su misión…
Judas, se arrepintió con un motivo
autodestructivo.
Aún así, ¡todavía algo está
faltando…!
“Nunca desconfíes de la
misericordia de Dios” dice San Benedicto.
(¡En otras palabras,
arrepiéntete, conviértete, y sigue adelante…!)

el nuevo apóstol que tomó el lugar de Judas, fue Matías, del que se sabe poco;
sin embargo, fue mucho mejor que Judas.
